Janice Zbiciak Brummett

Exhibited and published in the United States, as well as abroad. 

 

Creator, Owner and Director of Griffonage Studios, an entity which specializes in documenting and promoting art and artists working in a wide range of media.

 

Director of Wordsmith at Griffonage Studios an online writing service devoted to an expansive variety of text solutions.

 

Avid photographer and chronicler of life as art /art as life. Her artwork is often embodied in a sculptural / installation format, although she rejects traditional medium classification and dislikes art historical labels, preferring to leave categorization to the historians.

 

Author of two forthcoming books; a fictional work detailing art and life adventures in a small, remote northern California community, as well as a written word piece.

 

On the faculty of Shasta College @ Weaverville from 1992 to 2004, as an art instructor in Painting, Drawing and Two Dimensional Design.

 

Artist-in-Residence for various school districts in California from 1998 to 2003.

 

Resides in the United States, dividing her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Tucson, Arizona.
