“After 15 years at Davis, we are sad to be leaving Davis Bilingual. All 4 of our children graduated from Davis. It is a wonderful community of learners. Davis produces well rounded students. The program focuses on each child becoming fluent in both English and Spanish. They have a strong focus on literacy in both languages. The after school program is second to none. The children are offered opportunities to learn mariachi (guitar, violin, trumpet) and to play in the Aguilitas de Davis. They offer folklorico, computers, chess club, a phenomenal art program, cooking, sports and more. We are proud to be part of the Davis community.”

“We love Davis and so does our child. We don't speak Spanish but are so proud of the great work that Davis does. Our little one sounds like a native speaker! They are also very good in teaching math, science, geography and social science.”

“My kids are just starting their 4th year at Davis Bilingual Magnet School. Davis is the only public elementary school in Tucson that has a Spanish dual language program. The entire Davis teaching staff was recently awarded the Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Arizona College of Education Alumni Council. This school also has a wonderful music program with the youngest performing mariachi group in Tucson. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to their students and school. I would recommend Davis Bilingual to any family who would like their child(ren) to be exposed to multiculture, who has a strong desire for them to be bilingual and who is looking for a school that has a strong commitment to academics and music.”

“My son attended Davis Bilingual last year for Kinder and will attend first grade this year. There are full time teachers aides, excellent teachers, a small school atmosphere, P.E., music and art and a strong PTA. I felt very welcome volunteering on a weekly basis and my son is learning to read, write, do simple math and learn Spanish. I highly recommend Davis Bilingual Magnet School.”

“Davis Bilingual has provided a great deal of new experiences to both of my daughters. They offer a great bilingual program and the kids are very proud to be bilinguals. They also offer a great music program. Children learn to play a variety of instruments, from guitars to violin and trumphet. They also offer an extended day program where the kids participate in different sessions such as cooking, folkloriko, sports, arts, computers and crochet. The parent involvement in the school is great. All staff members are great. Thanks to all of you at Davis! Great Job! Proud Mother”

“Davis Bilingual Middle School has been a great experience for me. I am a TA from The University of Arizona. The students, staff, teaching, and overall school has been a great experience. Through my experience it has been a safe learning environment with friendly people and positive environment. I would recommend this school for anyone interseting in enrolling their child in bilingual school.”
