This family-friendly event features twinkling lights and illuminated animal sculptures on the zoo grounds. The event, which will take place on Saturday, June 18, from 5: 30 to 7: 00 p.m., will bring together the Tucson Zoo, Arizona State University, Arizona Museum of Natural History and the University of Arizona for the first time.

A great destination for Christmas lights is the Tucson Botanical Garden, where the annual Tohono Chul's Christmas in the Garden takes place on Saturday, December 31, from 5: 30 to 7: 00 p.m. The garden is transformed into a unique and magical Christmas show with desert - a thematic variation of traditional Christmas tree lighting. On each of the six special evenings, the beautiful candlelight luminaries and other lights will transform TOHonoChul into the perfect backdrop for a night of lights, music, food and fun.

On Saturday, December 31, the annual "Christmas in the Garden" will take place from 5.30 to 7 pm in the Botanical Garden.

In the garden there are some good bistros that offer theme buffets during the holiday night. The best way to enjoy the festival is to take a scooter, a group bike, to the Botanical Garden. On Christmas nights in Tohono Chul Park, the annual Winterhaven Festival of Lights takes place on Saturday, December 31, from 5.30 to 7pm. There are no official parking spaces in the area, but one of the best ways to experience it is to reserve a ride with the hay cart.
